Bottega Veneta
Bottega Veneta has set a new standard for luxury since its birth in Vicenza, in the Veneto region of Italy, in 1966. Bottega Veneta means 'Italian Shop'

Crafting artisanal leather goods, the brand developed a distinctive leather weaving design, the Intrecciato, which instantly became Bottega Veneta's iconic look.
Intrecciato Weave was introduced in the early 1970s and was first used on the brand's handbags. Following its success, Bottega Veneta then expanded its Intrecciato offerings into all product categories from jewelry to furniture as well as accessories for both women and men. The iconic woven technique has been reimagined season after season in different colors, materials and motifs. In 2020, Intrecciato Weave is still highly sought after.
Since Daniel Lee, formerly of Celine, took over Bottega as creative director at the end of 2018, the brand suddenly became relevant and desirable to a slew of tastemakers.

Lee launched the Pouch clutch bag which became the fastest selling bag in the history of the brand. He maintained the brand's emphasis on well-crafted, logo-less and simplicity-driven products.
Designer Daniel Lee has seamlessly married traditional Intrecciato Weave technique with his modern designs, making Intrecciato more iconic and desirable than ever before.
In late 2021, Kering appointed Matthieu Blazy, former design director at Bottega Veneta, as the new creative director of the company, who is expected to maintain Lee's New Bottega style.
